As the #WeAreBryant campaign continues to connect our students, families, alumni, and friends and our new Virtual 5K races to the finish line, we are introducing a new challenge to everyone in the Bryant community. To provide an added incentive to make your annual gift to Bryant before June 30, a generous contribution from Bryant Trustee Joe Puishys ’80 and Kathi (Jurewicz) Puishys ’81 will ensure that your contribution has twice the impact.

The #WeAreBryant Puishys $100,000 Challenge begins immediately, and the broad participation of the Bryant community will help to address the unexpected impact of the pandemic and ensure that we finish the fiscal year strong. The Puishys Challenge is a dollar-for-dollar match of all gifts raised between now and June 30th (up to $100,000) that are designated to either the Bryant Fund or the Bryant COVID-19 Fund. Contributions to these funds will have a powerful impact in the coming year, supporting academic programs and supplementing financial aid at a critical time when so many current and admitted students have been adversely affected by the sudden economic downturn and its unprecedented effects.

“We were so inspired by how Bryant responded to the pandemic, with compassion and support for students who were facing such a difficult semester, unlike one any of us had to face before,” said Kathi (Jurewicz) Puishys. “We wanted to do our part, and we hope that everyone in the Bryant community is inspired to join us.”

To take advantage of the challenge match, make your gift before June 30 at bryant.edu/givenow. Watch Bryant’s social media channels for additional information and updates.
