Inaugurated in 2018, Bryant Giving Day is an exciting day for the entire Bryant community. The campus is abuzz with energy as alumni, students, faculty, staff, administration, and friends rally to show their support for the University. Bryant community members from all over the world participate in recognition of everything Bryant means to them.

October 24 inaugurates Giving Day as an annual fall event, during which members of the Bryant community will join together to help the University further strengthen its endowment, its academic offerings, its global reputation, and the value and prestige of the degrees it confers.

When you look back on your experience at Bryant, there is undoubtedly something special — likely several things — that leap to mind as formative and fond memories. Bryant has been a springboard to success for more than 50,000 alumni, helping them to launch their lives as leaders, innovators, and global citizens. Being a part of Giving Day is a great way to show your appreciation and your belief that Bryant is transforming the lives of students each and every day.

"Your gift will help fund scholarships, provide support for academic initiatives, and further improve the programs that make the Bryant experience transformational for our students."
- Ronald K. Machtley, President

For the second consecutive year, dedicated Bryant supporters Kathryn “Kathi” (Jurewicz) ’81 and Joseph “Joe” Puishys ’80 have generously issued a $100,000 challenge to help reach our Giving Day fundraising goals.

“Bryant was a very important part of how we all got our start,” said Joe, who today is Chief Executive Officer of Apogee Enterprises in Minneapolis.

“Kathi and I are proud to be able to contribute and encourage our fellow alumni to join in and help make Bryant a stronger and more prestigious institution every year.”

“Last year’s Giving Day was a great success,” says President Ronald K. Machtley. “I’m counting on every member of the Bryant community to participate and make this year’s Giving Day even better.”

Machtley, who begins his 24th and final academic year as Bryant’s President this September, notes that resources generated during Giving Day will help Bryant enhance excellence across the University. “Your gift will help fund scholarships, provide support for academic initiatives, and further improve the programs that make the Bryant experience transformational for our students.”

“There are so many reasons to give,” adds Nora Marzocchi, Bryant Fund Director. “Whether it’s to help us boost our alumni participation rate (which has a positive impact on Bryant’s national rankings from organizations such as U.S. News & World Report); to contribute to scholarships that enable students to pursue their dreams; or to say thanks for the dedication of your favorite professor — for any reason that’s important to you, Bryant Giving Day is a fun and exciting time to participate.”

Your gift is critical to the University’s ongoing success. High alumni participation boosts Bryant’s rankings, which in turn helps boost reputation and enrollment.

Help support the next generation of students, as well as enhance the value and prestige of your own Bryant degree and affiliation by participating in Bryant Giving Day on October 24.
