The top teaching-learning innovations introduced at Bryant in the last five years – including Bello 102, the Data Visualization Lab, and expanding the Archway Fund to include a Fixed Income Track and Bloomberg Terminals – all have been fueled by the interest, advice, and support of University Trustee Louis Page ’89, P’17.

A venture capitalist and angel investor, Page is the founder and president of Window to Wall Street, Inc. He finds it fulfilling to exercise his philanthropy at a “micro” level where he can use his industry expertise to help shape the creation of new learning spaces and financial tools.

I’m really blessed to have been accepted there a long time ago and to serve on the Board of Trustees today. I can’t emphasize how much joy that has brought to my life.

“It’s extremely rewarding not just to give, but to get involved in the concept and planning and then see the fruit and growth of what you’re supporting,” explains Page. “It’s very rewarding to talk to students and see how they benefit from the ability to enter the workforce with the leading-edge knowledge and skills these innovations provide.”

Page considers his gifts as investments in his alma mater and credits Bryant for his personal and professional success. “Bryant is where I met my wife and made my best friends. I learned how to really get out of my comfort zone and try new things,” says Page. “The importance of studying, having discipline, and creating friendships – all of that led to my life choices and has helped tremendously in my career.”

“My continuing education in finance, teaching for the Boston Securities Society and grading CFA exams was all sparked by what I learned at Bryant,” Page adds. “Certainly, if it wasn’t for Bryant I wouldn’t be where I am today. I owe a lot of gratitude to Bryant. I’m really blessed to have been accepted there a long time ago and to serve on the Board of Trustees today. I can’t emphasize how much joy that has brought to my life.”
