2025 Commencement Award winners recognized for academic success, leadership, and service

As Bryant's graduating class of 2025 prepare to head out into the world and take their place as tomorrow's leaders, 41 among their number will receive additional recognition for their commitment to academic excellence, service, and leadership at the university's 162nd Commencement. Their work, over the course of their college careers, has helped to shape life on campus, further the horizons of scholarship, and make a positive difference in the Bryant community and beyond. 

The award recipients will be recognized during a special ceremony on May 7 and during Bryant's undergraduate commencement exercises.

Here are this year’s Commencement Award recipients:

THE BRYANT UNIVERSITY GOOD CITIZENSHIP AWARD was conferred to Olivia Stephenson’25

THE GEORGE J. KELLEY AWARD, presented to graduating seniors who have completed at least 102 credits at Bryant and are recognized and honored for having the highest cumulative grade point average at the end of the fall semester, was conferred to Conor Kincaid ’25, Ryan Flynn ’25, Nolan Tavares ’25,  ChanBoremey Teng ’25, Jenavieve Lyon ’25, and Cynthia Jenkins ’25

THE PRESIDENT’S LIST SASH, worn by the graduating senior or seniors who has/have achieved President’s list distinction (4.0 grade point average) every semester while at Bryant, was conferred to Jillian Accetturo ’25, Spencer Bennett ’25, Conor Kincaid ’25, Hannah King ’25, Drew Mahoney, Ryan Slaney ’25, Nolan Tavares ’25, and ChanBoremey Teng ’25

THE ROGER W. BABSON AWARD, presented to a graduating senior who is distinguished within the university community for his or her character, orderly mind, sound judgment, and systematic business habits, was conferred to Emilia Wojciechowska ’25

THE STUDENT SENATE SERVICE AWARD, selected by the Student Senate Service Awards Committee, was conferred to Nikki Belenkiy ’25, Sophia Prazeres ’25, Nolan Tavares ’25,  Shaundra Hester ’25, Emilia Wojciechowska ’25, Olivia Stephenson ’25, and Dan Iaralov ’25

THE RESERVE OFFICERS’ TRAINING CORPS ACHIEVEMENT AWARD, presented to a graduating senior who has excelled in military science studies and other courses, and who has shown superior leadership potential in the military science program and in extracurricular activities, was conferred to CDT. John Leone ’25

 

COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES

THE JOHN HANCOCK INSURANCE COMPANY AWARD, presented to two graduating seniors who have demonstrated superior achievement in the study of actuarial mathematics, was conferred to Devin Cavicchi ’25 and Rachel Gosselin ’25

THE COMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT AWARD was conferred to Jaclyn Colucci ’25

THE DELTA SIGMA PI SCHOLARSHIP KEY, presented to the graduating seniors with the highest cumulative academic average toward a degree in Business Administration or Economics, was conferred to Conor Kincaid ’25

THE EXCELLENCE IN ECONOMICS AWARD was conferred to Conor Kincaid ’25

THE ACHIEVEMENT IN CREATIVE EXPRESSION AWARD, presented to a graduating senior who has achieved excellence in creative expression, as demonstrated in the written, performance, film, fine, or applied arts, was conferred to Charlotte Dunn ’25

THE LITERARY AND CULTURAL STUDIES AWARD was conferred to Charlotte Dunn ’25

THE PELL MEDAL FOR UNITED STATES HISTORY AWARD was conferred to Katelyn Howerton ’25

THE MODERN LANGUAGES DEPARTMENT AWARD was conferred to Calla Puccetti ’25

THE LEGAL STUDIES, POLITICAL SCIENCE, AND SOCIOLOGY AWARDS were conferred to:
•    Legal Studies Award: Paige Edwards ’25

THE EXCELLENCE IN BIOLOGY AWARD was conferred to Calla Puccetti ’25

THE EXCELLENCE IN HEALTH SCIENCES AWARD was conferred to Jillian Acceturo ’25

THE RESEARCH SCHOLAR IN BIOLOGICAL AND BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES AWARD was conferred to Ramsha Gul ’25

THE ANNA M. & JERE ST. ANGELO ’61 ACCOUNTING AWARD, presented to two graduating seniors in Accounting who have demonstrated a high level of achievement, are in the top 10 percent of their class, are residents of an urban area, and will enter a career in public accounting, was conferred to Nolan Tavares ’25 and Anthony Perez ’25

THE LEANDER FRANCIS EMIN ENDOWED HOMESTEAD AWARD, presented to a graduating senior who has achieved scholastic excellence in accounting, was conferred to: Christy Mak ’25

THE RHODE ISLAND SOCIETY OF CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS AWARD was conferred to Thomas Galeckas ’25

THE CHERYL WATKINS SNEAD AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT was conferred to Jessica Gaskin ’25

THE NORTHEAST HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATION (NEHRA) - MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT COMMENCEMENT AWARD was presented to Talia Slavin ’25, Morgan Kopper ’25, and Abby Claudina ’25

THE EXCELLENCE IN MARKETING AWARD was conferred to Maddie Luke ’25

THE SAS INSTITUTE AWARD, presented to two bachelor’s degree candidates who have demonstrated superior achievement in the study of applied mathematics and statistics and have successfully completed coursework involving the application of SAS statistical software in their data analysis, was conferred to Aileen Charron ’25 and Marta Neira Martinez ’25

THE EXCELLENCE IN DATA SCIENCE AWARD was conferred to Trevor Christensen ’25

THE EXCELLENCE IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND ANALYTICS AWARD was conferred to Sarah Lostowski ’25
