Board of Trustees welcomes accomplished alumni, celebrates legacy of service

On behalf of the Bryant University Board of Trustees, Board Chair D. Ellen Wilson '79 recently announced the appointment of three distinguished alumni as new members.

Adam B. Joffe '93, '95MBA

Adam B. Joffe '93, '95MBA has worked in the financial services industry for over 20 years. In 2020, Joffe joined Fidelity Investments as the Head of Asset Management Compliance, Risk, and Business Operations. In this role, he leads a team of global associates that support and advance Asset Management’s multi-year plan. Joffe’s team is focused on business partnership and stewardship, platform modernization and operational excellence, and talent development. Prior to joining Fidelity, Joffe served as the Chief Business Officer and Executive Vice President of Mellon, where he was responsible for all business management activities at the firm.

David Olney '82David Olney ’82 was named Chief Executive Officer of Berkshire Residential Investments in November 2019. He is also a Partner and serves as a member of Berkshire’s Investment Committee. Since joining Berkshire in 1986, Olney has been involved in over $10 billion of investments in the U.S. rental housing sector. For over two decades, he served as Chief Investment Officer and Chair of the Investment Committee, where he led the company’s investment strategy and execution. Under Olney’s leadership, Berkshire has strengthened its position as a leading investment management firm in the multifamily housing industry.

Emilia Wojciechowska '25Emilia Wojciechowska ’25, Bryant University's 2025 Recent Alumni Trustee, graduated with a degree in International Business, concentrations in Marketing and Global Supply Chain Management, and a minor in Spanish. At Bryant, she took on leadership roles with the International Business Association, IDEA, Omicron Delta Kappa, Phi Sigma Iota, and the club hockey team. Emilia was also a member of the Bryant Senior Advisory Council. At Commencement, she received two prestigious honors: the Roger W. Babson Award and the Student Senate Leadership Award. Wojciechowska is a first-generation college student born and raised in Queens, New York.

Honoring Service

Bryant University also recognizes the service of five departing members of its Board of Trustees, whose dedication has left an indelible mark on the institution.

George Bello '58, '96H, joined the board in 2006 and served a nine-year term. In 2016, Bello rejoined the board for a second nine-year term. George and his wife, Carol, played a pivotal role in the development of Bryant’s campus in the early 2000s, including the George E. Bello Center for Information and Technology, which opened in 2002 and serves as a central hub for learning and gathering on campus.

Julia DiNatale '22 completed her three-year term after joining the board as the Class of 2022 Recent Alumni Trustee. Kristian Moor '91, P'17, joined the board in 2003 and was instrumental in the establishment of Bryant Zhuhai. Moor was re-elected in 2013 and served through May 2025. Don Quattrucci was a member of the board from 2010-2017 and again from 2023-2025. Sharon Garavel served from 2023 to 2025.

In addition, Trustees Kim Anderson, Tim Barton '85, Christine Katziff '86, Patricia O’Brien P'15, Daniel Rice '03, David Sorbaro '85, Frank Stasiowski '75MBA, Peg Van Bree, Scott Voss '92, P'25, and Ellen Wilson '79 were re-elected to three-year terms at the May meeting of the Bryant University Board of Trustees. The terms of Bob Calabro '88, Bill Conaty '67, Nancy DeViney '75, and Rita Williams-Bogar '76 were extended for an additional three years.
