SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant Giving Day returns Thursday, November 5, for the ninth year of generosity, Bryant pride, and support for student success. Building on the excitement from the launch of Momentum in Motion, the Campaign for Bryant’s Visionary Future, this year’s event encourages members across the Bryant community to Make Your Move to support Bryant students.
“Momentum in Motion joins Giving Day! Please be a part of something bigger!” says David Wegrzyn ’86, P’23, vice president for University Advancement. “Every gift adds strength to our collective impact, and together, thousands of individual acts of generosity can create extraordinary opportunities for Bryant students. That shared commitment is what makes this day so special.”
This signature annual fundraising event supports more than 100 programs, teams, scholarships, and experiences across campus, including the Bryant Fund, which directs critical resources throughout the university. Giving to any of these areas helps power initiatives at the core of the Bryant experience.
“Bryant Giving Day provides important support for the ambitions of our Momentum in Motion campaign,” says Bryant University President Ross Gittell, Ph.D. “Each year, the strong demonstration of Bryant pride and enthusiasm which comes with Giving Day strengthens the progress we are making across the university and brings us closer to realizing our goals for Bryant and our students.”
More Ways to Build Momentum
This year, Bryant Giving Day will feature even more ways to maximize impact and excitement across support areas. Throughout the day, donors can amplify their support during Impact Hours.
Generously sponsored by anonymous Bryant parent donors, this year’s Impact Hours offer $25,000 in bonus funding. At designated times throughout Bryant Giving Day, donors can double their impact or help their favorite area rise to the top. From scholarships and academic programs to athletics and student experiences, these special challenges will encourage donors to rally support for their favorite areas and unlock additional funding for Bryant.

Campus-wide Celebration
Join in the fun at both the Business Entrepreneurship Leadership Center and Unistructure Rotunda for food, games, giveaways, and more. The festivities run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include treats from Jaswell Farms and the Black & Gold Cafe.
