SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Bryant University rose to ninth in the nation for Best Career Services in The Princeton Review’s latest college rankings, joining a series of national distinctions for the university and its student experience.
Bryant also debuted on several ranked lists this year, earning the 16th spot for Best-Run Colleges, 16th for Happiest Students, and 23rd for Friendliest Students. The Douglas and Judith Krupp Library ranks 19th nationally for Best College Library, and Bryant debuted at number seven for strong town relations.
The university was once again named to The Princeton Review’s Best Value Colleges, Best Northeast, Green Colleges, and The Best 392 Colleges lists.
“These rankings capture what distinguishes Bryant,” says President Ross Gittell, Ph.D. “Our students receive a transformative education, strong preparation for their careers, a deeply connected community where they can thrive, and a return on their educational investment in the top 1 percent nationally. Being named one of the nation’s best-run colleges is also a credit to the entire university and the collective commitment to student success and institutional excellence.”
Bryant’s rise to ninth in the nation for Best Career Services marks a 16-spot increase from last year’s ranking. The Princeton Review bases its rankings on student assessments of their colleges’ career and job placement services.
In their survey responses, Bryant students cited Bryant’s Amica Center for Career Education as one of the university’s greatest strengths. “The team in the career center does an excellent job helping students find job/internships and prepare for interviews,” one student told The Princeton Review. Others point to “so many great career networking opportunities” on and off campus.
The Amica Center for Career Education works with students from their first year through Commencement, providing personalized career coaching, internship and employment support, mock interviews, resume assistance, career fairs, and connections with employers and alumni. “Students come to Bryant with big ambitions, hopes, and passions, and they find a community that supports them,” said Inge-Lise Ameer, Ed.D., vice president for student affairs and dean of students. “That happens through the career coaches, employer connections, internships, and careers upon graduation they find at the Amica Center, and through the friendships, mentors, organizations, and experiences that shape their lives on campus. These rankings are especially meaningful because they come directly from students and speak to the experience they have here."
According to student respondents, “The Bryant community is very tight knit and helps make you feel at home on campus.” Students described their peers as “motivated, hardworking, kind, fun” and said that while Bryant students are driven, they support one another and “push each other to be better.”
Students also described an active campus with a myriad of ways to get involved and meet people. One student said extracurricular activities “have introduced me to a new group of people and exposed me to new ways of thinking.” Another described Bryant as “extremely welcoming,” with the “perfect balance of academics, recreation, and extracurricular activities.”
In their responses, students also illustrated a community of “different types of leaders who are each striving for their individual goals but are also devoted to maintaining a strong, cohesive student body.”
Bryant’s seventh-in-the-nation ranking for town relations recognizes the university’s relationship with Smithfield and surrounding Rhode Island communities. Bryant students, faculty, and staff participate in community partnerships, events, and other programs throughout the region, including an annual Service Day when faculty and staff volunteer with local nonprofits and community organizations.
The Princeton Review rankings follow other national recognitions for Bryant student outcomes. In August, LinkedIn ranked Bryant 41st in the nation on its 2026 Top Colleges list, which recognizes 50 U.S. colleges for the long-term career success of their graduates. LinkedIn considers job placement, internship and recruiter demand, network strength, career advancement, and knowledge breadth. TIME also ranked Bryant in the top 100 nationally for career outcomes.
