Smithfield, RI – Bryant University has once again been recognized as one of the nation’s premier institutions, according to The Princeton Review’s latest guidebook, The Best 390 Colleges: 2025 Edition (Penguin Random House). This acknowledgment highlights Bryant as a standout among America’s four-year higher education institutions and recognizes the university for its commitment to transformational learning experiences that result in top outcomes and the development of passionate, purpose-driven leaders.

In the annual guidebook, released August 27, Bryant was named among the “Best Northeast” schools and one of the top “Green Colleges” in the nation, a nod to the university’s academic rigor and sustainability initiatives. The institution also achieved Top 25 national rankings in three student life categories: Most Active Student Government (12); Best College Library (20); and Students Love Their School Teams (24).

This recognition comes on the heels of Forbes’ 2025 “America’s Top Colleges” list, which showcased Bryant as one of the best U.S. schools that produce successful, high-earning, and influential graduates from all economic backgrounds, with less student debt.

Bryant President Ross Gittell, Ph.D., expressed his pride in the university’s accomplishments: “We are honored to again be included in The Princeton Review’s guidebook and Forbes’ 2025 ‘America’s Top Colleges’ as a top institution. These recognitions reflect our long-standing commitment to student success and exceptional outcomes. Our Bulldog spirit, faculty with industry expertise, strong academic programs, and robust experiential learning opportunities make Bryant ideal for students seeking a vibrant campus life, active and career-relevant learning and engagement, and strong outcomes.”

The Princeton Review’s annual guide selects just 15 percent of U.S. colleges and universities based on comprehensive data from surveys of thousands of higher education administrators and students. For the Top 25 lists, 165,000 students across all participating schools are polled on academics, financial aid, amenities, career services, and campus culture.

“We salute Bryant University for its outstanding academics, and many other impressive offerings. We recommend it as an ideal choice for students searching for their ‘best-fit’ college,” says Rob Franek, The Princeton Review's editor-in-chief and lead author of The Best 390 Colleges.

The Princeton Review, headquartered in New York, is a leading provider of educational services, including tutoring, test-prep courses, and academic resources. Its annual guidebook has been a trusted resource for prospective students and their families since 1992, offering detailed profiles and insights to assist families in making informed decisions about undergraduate education.
