SMITHFIELD, RI – Bryant University is a top national leader for return on higher education investment (ROI), according to the newly released Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce (CEW) scorecard. Bryant ranks in the top 1% (No. 46) nationally of the 4,500 schools included in the study and among the top 5% (No. 10) of colleges and universities in New England. “The new national ranking represents Bryant’s steep ascent from No. 76 in 2019 to No. 46 in 2022, a jump of 30 positions. Bryant is No.1 on the list of Rhode Island schools.”
The study looks at potential long-term economic gains for graduates in terms of net present value (NPV), a metric that projects future earnings, costs, and investments.
These rankings are based on the CEW’s updated College Scorecard. The NPV for Bryant graduates after 20 years is $834,000, climbing to $1,396,000 and $1,857,000 respectively for 30 and 40 years out.

Nearly 10% of Bryant graduates are CEOs, COOs, and/or CFOs. The median starting salary for Bryant graduates is $60,000 and 99% are employed or enrolled in graduate study within six months of graduation. More than 25% of Bryant’s Class of 2022 has already secured post-graduate employment.
