SMITHFIELD, RI – A year after breaking into the Top 25 of Poets&Quants rankings of online MBA programs, Bryant University’s Online MBA rose to No. 16 in the 2025 rankings, leaping eight points ahead of last year’s spot. It’s the fourth consecutive year Bryant’s flexible MBA program landed on the prestigious list, a national survey that examines admissions standards, student feedback on academic experience, and career outcomes.
"This ranking, which reflects Bryant University's steady rise in national prominence, underscores our commitment to transformational learning experiences and exceptional student outcomes," says President Ross Gittell, Ph.D. "The quality of our Online MBA is a testament to the bold goals and collaborative drive of our College of Business faculty, whose dedication continues to set new standards of excellence. I'm proud of this recognition and the proven impact of their work."
Bryant also rose in individual category rankings, ascending to the No. 1 position in admission standards from 2024's sixth position. In the career outcomes category, Bryant rose to No. 22 in the country, up 11 spots from last year's survey.
“From the beginning, Bryant University and our faculty have been innovators, with a bold commitment to turn theories and ideas into real-world outcomes that empower our students to achieve great things,” says Bryant University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Rupendra Paliwal, Ph.D. “We are continuing to provide transformational learning experiences that lead to exceptional outcomes in all of our academic programs including the highly recognized Online MBA program.”
College of Business Dean Todd M. Alessandri, Ph.D., believes the unique construction of the program, allowing students to learn online at their own pace while connecting them with supportive faculty who help tailor student experiences to their career aspirations, has allowed the Bryant Online MBA to replicate the hallmarks of Bryant’s in-person transformative education.
“With exceptional faculty who are uniquely focused on promoting strong career outcomes for our graduate students, it’s no surprise to see Bryant University’s powerful and results-oriented online MBA continuing to earn national recognition. The program provides a personal, collaborative learning environment, where students tackle real world applications that have an immediate impact on their careers.”
A leader in MBA education for over 50 years, Bryant began offering a Master of Business Administration in 1969 and became accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International in 1994. Bryant’s Online MBA was Rhode Island’s first fully online MBA from an AACSB-accredited institution.
