Bryant’s Faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences are accomplished scholars whose research is published in top journals and publications and at prestigious conferences around the world.

These world-class scholars are committed to and passionate about advancing the study and practice of the humanities, social sciences, mathematics, and the natural and applied sciences. Their work offers ever-expanding perspective and analysis on the world around us and demonstrates the value academic research plays in improving lives.

"In addition to research and teaching, their dedicated service makes a difference to Bryant students and to the growth and reputation of the institution.”

“Our faculty are incredibly dedicated and passionate about what they do. I am inspired by this every day. In addition to research and teaching, their dedicated service makes a difference to Bryant students and to the growth and reputation of the institution,” says Wendy Samter, Ph.D., Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences and scholar who studies the social, emotional, and physical outcomes of social cognition and communication in intimate relationships.

“They also lead efforts beyond the scope of their disciplines to educate students, government, nonprofit, and corporate leaders, as well as individuals at institutions and organizations around the world.”

Many of Bryant’s signature academic programs and centers, including the Honor’s program, IDEA (Innovation and Design Experience for All program), the Center for Health and Behavioral Sciences, the Center for Global and Regional Economic Studies, and Bryant’s Living and Learning Communities, are led by faculty from the College of Arts and Sciences. They are also renowned experts and thought leaders who are often sought after by regional and national media for their insights and perspectives.
