Around Bryant University’s campus and beyond, anticipation is building for the fifth annual Bryant Giving Day, which will be held on October 26, 2022. With Bryant poised to take bold steps forward with the launch of the Vision 2030 strategic plan, our community’s support is more important than ever before.

“With Vision 2030, we are on a bold trajectory for the future as we take Bryant’s unique interdisciplinary curriculum and vibrant student life to the next level."

“This year, we encourage every member of the Bryant community to Be the One to make a difference for our students and faculty,” says David Wegrzyn ’86, P’23, Vice President for University Advancement. “We want everyone to know that their gift matters, large or small, and they can choose to support the area of Bryant that means the most to them. Your participation is important.”

“We want everyone to know that their gift matters, large or small, and they can choose to support the area of Bryant that means the most to them."

Last year, Bryant Giving Day inspired more than 2,500 donors from 47 US states and 22 countries to give back in support of the initiatives and programs that mean the most to them. With an incredible $1.4 million raised, Bryant Giving Day 2021 set an all-time, single-day record for collective philanthropy at Bryant. This year, a new set of opportunities means that our University is aiming even higher for Bryant Giving Day 2022.

President Ross Gittell, Ph.D. underscores the transformational impact of Bryant Giving Day. “With Vision 2030, we are on a bold trajectory for the future as we take Bryant’s unique interdisciplinary curriculum and vibrant student life to the next level,” he says. “Philanthropic support enables us to provide an innovative education that prepares students to thrive in the 21st century data-driven global economy. With your support on Giving Day, we will continue to create programs and pathways that position graduates for success as leaders who make a difference in their organizations and communities around the world.”

This year, donors will compete to win a share of a $10,000 bonus dollars for the fund of their choosing. The more gifts a fund or designation receives, the greater the share of the bonus dollars it earns. Challenges encourage peer-to-peer outreach and friendly competition, says Bryant Fund Director Nora Marzocchi. “Leaderboard challenges are the perfect way for donors to inspire fellow Bryant community members to give back,” she says. “Our most excited and motivated donors sign up to be Advocates, encouraging friends and family to support the fund or funds that mean the most to them.”

For the first time, this year’s Bryant Giving Day gives donors the opportunity to support the newly created School of Health and Behavioral Sciences. Donors can also choose to invest in the Schools of Arts & Sciences and Business, as well as more than 130 funds, including the Bryant Fund, scholarships, student life, Black & Gold Athletics, and much more.
