Learn About Bryant Apply to Bryant

Bryant University alumna Jacqueline Calamari ’17, a graduate of the Finance and Economics programs who works in electronic trading sales at Bloomberg LP in London, was recently named to the European Women in Finance Award's shortlist in the Excellence in Trading platforms category. Launched in 2020 by Markets Media Europe, the program recognizes the most talented and accomplished women across the business of finance.

A member of Bryant’s College Honors Program, Calamari, who majored in Finance with a concentration in Economics, was the recipient of a Presidential Scholarship, which is awarded for exceptional academic achievement. She was also named to the Dean’s List and was an International Tennis Association Scholar Athlete. Her Honors Thesis, conducted in collaboration with The Hunger Project, focused on addressing world hunger by researching and compiling qualitative and quantitative data to catalog social enterprise organizations working with people in eight African countries.

Calamari recently met with Bryant students taking part in the Head, Hand, and Hertford Programme, a unique study abroad opportunity created in collaboration with Oxford University’s Hertford College in London. Alongside other alumni currently living in the United Kingdom, she discussed with the Bryant cohort the many possibilities their Bryant education could afford them. Within the Finance program — ranked in the top 8% in the country by College Factual and led by faculty experts with real-world leadership experience — students develop a decision-analysis framework that helps them succeed in a competitive job market.
