Bryant University is pleased to announce the schedule for Bryant’s 159th Commencement Ceremonies, to be held in person under the main Commencement tent on Thursday, May 19, and Saturday, May 21, 2022. Bryant was the only college or university in Rhode Island to hold commencement ceremonies with guests in person last year, and is looking forward to restoring campus traditions as we celebrate the accomplishments of our Class of 2022.
Commencement weekend will begin with the Graduate Programs Commencement Ceremony at 5 p.m. on Thursday, May 19. Approximately 140 graduates will receive Master of Science in Business Administration and Master of Professional Accountancy. A Graduate School Reception for Bryant’s newest alumni and their families and friends will be held in the Bello Center Grand Hall immediately following the ceremony.
On Friday, May 20, Bryant will host a Baccalaureate Service under the tent at 4pm followed by the President’s Reception in Salmanson Dining Hall 5-6:30 p.m. This special reception for the Undergraduate Class of 2022, honorary degree recipients, trustees, faculty members, and staff provides an opportunity for graduating seniors to informally gather with professors and other members of the Bryant community who have played a part in their education. Refreshments will be served.
Saturday ceremonies on May 21 begin at 7:30 a.m. with guest check-in on the George E. Bello Center for Information and Technology patio. Each undergraduate will have five tickets for guest seating under the main tent, with unlimited opportunity for guests to view the procession and ceremony from the David M. ’85 and Terry Beirne Stadium Complex, and multiple air-conditioned locations indoors including the Bryant Interfaith Center, Unistructure Janikies Auditorium and Bello Center Grand Hall. The additional viewing locations do not require a ticket.
Guests with tickets are asked to be seated under the tent by 9:15 a.m. The procession of graduates begins at 9:30am. The ceremony will begins at 10 a.m. and conclude at approximately 1:30 p.m.
Bryant University’s Undergraduate Class of 2022 includes approximately 800 graduates receiving the nationally ranked Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, Bachelor of Science in International Business, and Bachelor of Science in Data Science degrees.
