SMITHFIELD, RI – Bryant University’s Online MBA hit No. 24 in Poets&Quants 2024 rankings of online MBA programs, leaping 15 points ahead of last year’s spot. It’s the third consecutive year Bryant’s flexible MBA program landed on the prestigious list and the first year the program broke the Top 25. Poets&Quants uses admissions standards plus student surveys on academic experience and career outcomes as the basis for the rankings.
“Providing high-quality, high-impact, accessible learning opportunities is a core value of Bryant University,” says President Ross Gittell, Ph.D. “Our Online MBA program ensures the strong outcomes of a Bryant education is available to students across the world and is tailored to offer important work/life balance for busy professionals. Poets&Quants recognizes Bryant’s ability to transform the lives of all students in any classroom setting.”
Breaking the Poets&Quants Top 25 is a testament to the resolve of the students and faculty dedicated to making a Bryant education respected throughout the business world. Bryant’s Online MBA program replicates the critical hallmarks of an in-person Bryant education, including outstanding faculty mentoring, innovation, and collaboration, as well as invaluable capstone experiences. Using real world applications in the classrooms, students can apply their learning immediately to their current careers.
According to College of Business Dean Madan Annavarjula, Ph.D., the pre-recorded lectures give students flexibility, while the university’s coveted high touch points with faculty are accessed through one-on-one office hours and discussion boards. “This is a testament to the work of our talented faculty, who are dedicated to the excellent outcomes of our graduate students, whether they are learning online or at our Smithfield campus,” says Annavarjula.
In addition to small class sizes and student-faculty ratio, every student in the program has a dedicated academic success coach to help navigate the process, set priorities, stay on track, and get the most out of the program.
“Bryant University and our faculty have a rich history of being early adopters of innovative teaching methods with the goal of turning theories into real world applications,” says Bryant University Provost and Chief Academic Officer Rupendra Paliwal, Ph.D. “As technology advances, we will continue to invest in learning tools and pedagogical innovations to reflect the changing business climate and learning preferences to ensure impactful career growth for our students.”
A leader in MBA education for over 50 years, Bryant’s Online MBA was Rhode Island’s first fully online MBA from an AACSB-accredited institution. Bryant began offering a Master of Business Administration in 1969 and became accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International in 1994.
