ZHUHAI, CHINA – On June 15, on behalf of President Ross Gittell, Ph.D., Bryant University Provost Rupendra Paliwal, Ph.D., conferred Bryant Zhuhai’s seventh graduating class of 98 students with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting during the 2025 Bryant Zhuhai Commencement. Paliwal and Weitao Gao, Vice President, Beijing Institute of Technology Zhuhai, addressed the graduates and distinguished guests. Hong Yang, Ph.D., Bryant University Executive Director of China Programs and Charles J. Smiley Chair Professor of Biology and Biomedical Sciences, joined the ceremony and granted them BITZH and Bryant University diplomats.
Coming to its tenth year, Bryant Zhuhai was approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education and the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) in 2015. It offers four-year undergraduate programs of dual degrees to Chinese students across the county.

Speaking to the graduates, Paliwal emphasized the key values of Bryant community and encouraged the graduates to stay curious, be creative, and think critically when they explore the real world.
Gao, in his address, recognized the high-quality strategic cooperation between two universities, and the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2025.
Brian Andrew Swanson, faculty representative from Bryant Zhuhai, affirmed the growth of the graduates over the past four years. He expected the graduates to be well prepared for entering a new chapter of their lives.
On June 16, a Bryant University alumni reception was hosted in Guangzhou. Twelve Bryant alumni, as well as current students, attended the event.

Robin Warde, Bryant University’s Director of Global Alumni, Parent & Constituent Engagement, announced the establishment of Bryant University China Alumni Network. This network will provide a platform for lifelong connections among alumni and strengthen ties with the university.
