SMITHFIELD, RI: Bryant University is thrilled to announce a strategic partnership with International Corporate Governance Network to offer ICGN’s flagship training program, Governance, Stewardship and Sustainability (GSS) as an accredited certificate designed to provide training and guidance in corporate governance, sustainability and investor stewardship for governance professionals beginning Summer 2023 via Bryant's Executive Education and Career Accelerator.
To celebrate this partnership, Bryant will host a launch event on Tuesday, March 28 from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., featuring a keynote address and panels on corporate governance and sustainability matters. The event runs concurrently online and in person at the Academic Innovation Center on Bryant University’s Smithfield, RI campus. The event is free and open to the public; registration is required. In recent years environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors have become part of the lexicon and integrated into company governance practices and investor decision-making. Yet, at the same time, there is increased debate about the merits relating to the consideration of ESG factors by institutional investors. This event offers investment professionals and policy makers a highly sought after, global perspective on ESG and corporate governance.
