SMITHFIELD, R.I. – On Jan. 1, 2022, Sukki Yoon, Ph.D., Professor of Marketing at Bryant University, began his term as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Current Issues & Research in Advertising (JCIRA), the leading research platform where marketing professionals examine the role of advertising in society and debate the current and enduring issues of the field.
In his new role, Yoon's plans include expanding the audience for the successful publication; and what 21st century growth plan would be complete without a podcast strategy? The award-winning marketing researcher and consumer behavior expert made his debut as host of the podcast “Curious and Interesting” on Feb. 4 with a series of two-minute videos on topics aligning with articles in the JCIRA’s current issue (Volume 43, Issue 1 (2022).

Professor Yoon’s work spans a wide variety of diverse topics ranging from the fundamental questions of consumer behavior to issues that enhance marketing managerial decisions. His work has been published in top international journals and publications, including the European Journal of Marketing, the International Journal of Advertising, and the International Journal of Consumer Studies.
In addition to his role at the JCIRA, Yoon also serves as an Editorial Review Board Member for several other publications, including the Journal of Business Research, the Journal of Advertising, and the Journal of Global Sport Management.
